Well I certainly hope the past week is no indication of the New Year. Let's say that 2010 was so great that all the crap hit us in the last week. Our annual NYE festivities were put to a clear halt once my poor hubby was diagnosed with STREP....AHHH! Yesterday Marlow ran her first fever ever and of course her doctor was closed so we headed to the urgent clinic. Thankfully, she only seems to have a low grade fever we need to watch for now.
Our house has been fumigated with lysol daily and poor Daddy hasn't had any love from Marlow. Not even a New Year kiss... boo.
Since we were stuck at home I thought hubby would at least get to enjoy all the New Year's Eve food! So last night we dined on some yummy raspberry chipotle meatballs, potstickers, cheese dip, and of course pigs in a blanket. New Year.... new diet :)
