Some kitchen photos

Oh I just realized I haven't posted any photos of the new kitchen!

I only have a few on my camera right now, but take a look! The lighting isn't staying and we still have some touch up painting to do... but here are some photos. DH honestly did most of the work himself! The tiles are glass white subway tiles and the cabinets are from Lowe's. I got the pulls on ebay! DH did most of the work himself! The cost for our new kitchen was half of what you would imagine!

Here is a before photo from the day we looked at the house... this is the previous owners stuff.

And once demo started... we had to move the oven so there was some holes in the wall.

Tile started to go up so we used plastic to cover the new granite countertops.

My favorite feature is the push button garbage disposal... so much easier!

Great Valentine Weekend

It was just absolutelty perfect... well almost... the part where the hubs played softball on Valentine's was less than romantic, but oh well.

We spent Friday in a local small town sampling wine, and beer from a local brewery. It was the most amazing drive. Thank goodness I can get a map on my phone since we decided to take the scenic route. I can't believe it's been 3 years since our engagement. The 13th was our engagement anniversary. Oh how I loved our trip to Boston...

Anyways... we brought home some tasty raspberry champage from our day trip and thought it would be nice to share it with the family. So everyone came over for Sunday morning breakfast and mimosas! Oh the best!

Now I can spend the evening playing with my wonderful Valentine's present... I'm spoiled. The hubs bought me a new laptop!!

Superbowl Sunday Shopping

Work has been so busy... so I need a pick me up.  It was time to head the the mall.  I can't even remember the last time I went to the mall but I went a little crazy.  I usually do this.  I do zero clothes shopping and then I get it all out of my system in one swoop.
