Oh the anticipation!

It seems like long long ago I marked Oct 1st on my calendar for our upcoming gender appointment. I just can't believe it's almost here!!! So close, yet still so far. 2 more days!!

I'm 18 weeks today! That means baby is the size of a sweet potato.... wow... I have a sweet potato sized baby in my belly. I can feel him/her kicking away! It the most wonderful feeling. I keep telling David either our baby hates or loves my voice because it goes crazy when I talk loudly.

So thanks to some super generous friends we now have most of our baby furniture! 2 cribs, a changing dresser, and a glider. David's decided to refinsh them to a color of our choice.... that's been the latest project. What color palette will we go with??

This has to be my favorite thus far. Love the color palette!! Bright pink, pops of blue and pops of black and white... perfection.

Nursery inspiration!

With our gender reveal next week we've been thinking about what in the world to do in the nursery. Some swatches are up but here's some inspiration I like. Don't be fooled by the blue.... I'm thinking this little one is a girl but I'd love "the right blue" for his or her room. I've also added a baby column on the left to try and organize ALL the resources for all things baby!
