Glow On

Attempting to keep a girly glow at nearly NINE months pregnant is no easy feat. Alas, I've kept up my rigid skin regimen of peels, potions and mask.... and called in the big guns.

I'm sure I'll be needing all the glow I can get after those sleepless nights with baby girl.

My new favorites that I cannot live without!

Secret Weapon # 1
Smashbox Eye Illusion - no glitter, glitz, faux shiny.... just a touch of opal luminosity. You can mix the colors with current eyeshadows for a bit of brightening but I think they stand so well alone. Apply to inner eye corner, top of cheekbone, and high brow bone....and enjoy the dewy radiance.

Secret Weapon # 2 Mario Badescu Rose Water - just add hydration... you'll always look more rested. I spray it throughout the day.

Cargo Lipstick in Ageless - I normally hate lipstick and cannot bring myself to wear it but I got this color as part of a gift and tried it out on a whim....it's a fresh coral hue and spectacular.

Things for Marlow

This is part of my "committing" to her name. I have no idea why this blanket suddenly made if feel so real...but it hit me... she's coming...but apparently not in any rush. I just love the way her name came out on her cap and blanket!!

Room Progress

We're getting closer to finishing up the Marlow's nursery. I have some decals on order, my little tweet tweet birdie hooks to hang, some frames to fill, but I love it already!

It's been too long!!

I can't believe I haven't updated in so long! I started journaling more notes to our baby girl and getting her baby book together so I guess that's my excuse.

I do have some news... we FINALLY agreed on her name... Marlow.

No middle is decided yet, but I'm so happy we at least have her first down!!

She's been doing very well...so well that she seems to want to stay with mommy for as long as possible. I'm 38 weeks today and not many signs point to her arrival. I feel like this is the longest 2+ weeks of my life!! I can't wait to meet this little girl.
