Belly pic Friday!

Baby is defintely growing and kicking away! She's actually getting on a schedule already and I have a feeling she will be a morning baby. She loves waking me up at 6am with kicks!

Yesterday was such a productive day... finally chose a pediatrician and visited some possible childcare centers. I may have actually made a final decision on the nursery color. Now that we actually have bedding I think we'll be switching the color to a teal/turquoise/deep blue mix....with pink and lilac accents.

Registering for baby!

Wow...this part is so overwhelming. It is nothing like registering for a wedding!

Thank goodness for the help of friends and family to try and decipher what I need and what's nice to have. We decided Babies R Us and Target seemed the easiest...but of course we still can't make a decision on things like a stroller. It's unbelievable how many different types of strollers there are out there! I wish I could at least say I have it narrowed down... guess we'll just see. I probably need to go by the store and actually try to break down the stroller and see how heavy these things are.

Either way I have a master list going of all the little items I may need in those early days. I can't believe only 126 days to go!! The time really flies. Although she really seems to be having so much fun in there. This weekend I could see her pushing...I mean my belly actually was moving as she was. So crazy.

These days my list mania seems to be the only thing keep me sane! I now have a registry list, baby timeline, cleaning list, hospital packing list, David's to do list and more..... seriously we are in for the shock of our structured uber prepared lives when this little girl comes.

So when my husband bought my awesome camera for my birthday I had to put it to good use. I absolutely love taking photos and playing with editing software. I was fortunate enough to visit a friend and her baby boy for a little photo shoot. Isn't he such a cutie?!

My first baby purchase!

Yes... I actually have not bought anything...not one thing. My super great friend ;) recommended a local place to check out some cute bedding. I finally made it over for lunch and found the absolute perfect pattern. I've been looking for something girly but still blue or aqua and pink.

Look what came home with me!! The Caden Lane Morgan Modern Vintage Pink Collection. Now we can finally make some headway on the nursery.

Seriously of all the girly things I can't wait to buy our little one... I cannot get over shoes and hats. Babies hardly even wear shoes and hats but these are soooo cute. All are found on Etsy.

Sugar and Spice

Sugar and Spice.... and everything nice.... that's what my little GIRL is made of!!! It's a girl!!!

OMG, I'm so over the moon thrilled.... I just can't wait!!! I think David is still shell shocked. I told him, "She's going to be so pretty!" and he said, "I know, that's what I'm afraid of!" Poor Daddy is going to be surrounded by all the ladies!

Our baby girl looked great! Everything was measuring right on track and I can't believe she's 11 oz already!

I can't wait any longer!!

It's almost here... I can't wait to see our little one again. Tick tock, tick tock.... just 30 more minutes and hopefully we'll know the gender of our baby. Seriously, I can't believe how excited and anxious I am!

Baby progress!

We finally got the room painted....but I can't quite go in there yet because of the fumes. Promise to post a photo soon. I think my design board for the baby room is almost complete. Since I didn't have too much to share photo wise, I figured at least a bump photo would help.

Funnel neck coats...love them!

In South TX my poor coats see only a few days of chilly weather....but I've been on the hunt for some new styles that might also work with a baby bump. I'm in love with the funnel neck coats!

I found an inexpensive alternative for now... since my coats don't get too much wear but sweaters do! This cute sweater actually has a great fit and looks so much better when worn open.

BIG day of milestones!

3 years ago today.... we took the plunge! After a February proposal in the Boston snow.

...and months of planning for a March wedding.... we decided to just do it. We planned a small intimate ceremony in 3 weeks....wrote our vows....and took the plunge!
Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. I love you and our life together!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful, loving, and supportive husband. Thank you for filling my life with so much love and priceless memories. I can't wait to build new ones together with our little blessing. Happy Birthday too...

And for the icing on the cake for this wonderful day... baby had a present too....BABY KICKED FOR DADDY! It's the first time he's felt baby kick from the outside.

Getting Ready for Halloween

I love Halloween and fall decor so I'm on the lookout. This is technically our first real Halloween in our new house and I'm getting the house ready!

So my big ultrasound is moved to next Monday... I hope this is a quick week. We were so bummed, especially because we are ready to start the baby room but I'm trying to wait it out and find out the gender first.

It's been a big weekend. We finally got a new "family" car. David's birthday present/our anniversary present this year was a 4Runner....yay! Oh, and I think my sister in law felt the baby move this weekend.
