Model home bedroom inspiration

Oh this bedroom was so comfy and posh at the same time. Our master bedroom is the same color so I'm defintely stealing some ideas.

Of course my husband noticed little details like this.... Not sure if you can tell from the photo but this is a clear separation of the rooms. The hallway had the wood going in one direction and once you entered the bedroom the wood was placed diagonally. It was a nice touch!

Long dresses

For a short girl like me it's tough to fall in love with the maxi dress style. I thought it just wasn't for me. Then I saw this photo on Urban Grace and In(side)the Loop and I was inspired to finally break down and search for my perfect maxi dress. Isn't this the most beautiful dress ever?!?!

I actually found two I love and I'm getting ready to actually take that sewing machine out of the box! The dress above is vintage so of course I'd never find anything exactly like it but I was pretty surprised to find something similar at Express and another cute one at F21. I love the blue one with a metallic braided belt like above. Thanks Courtney for the inspiration!

Yay for Shopping!

So during our staycation we did a lot of browsing and shopping. I had so much fun at a local outdoor mall and much to my delight... I realized my city has a Zara!!! Such cute stuff!

I also got to pop into Urban Outfitters and score some cute new T's!

Just for fun we went to look around at some local model homes to check out the goods. I didn't love much of it...but I still have a few more to visit.
