I almost lost my mommy license. I attempted to trim my poor baby's nails because she scratches the heck out herself all the time. I freaked when she moved a little and nicked her little nail. I think I cried more tears than she did. Well she cried zero tears so I definitely cried more. She looked at me and laughed as I panicked.
Her little hands are always in fists so I grabbed a cotton ball and handed it to her. She applied her own pressure and I just put on a little mitten to keep it in place while she rode in her swing and momma composed herself... sigh.
You know, I've NEVER trimmed my little's nails?! Hubby does it-- I'm too scared!!! You're very brave, and I promise-- you still have your mommy license! xoxo kiki
